Hi Richard, I noticed a typo in this edition, namely the word loetus should be laetus (happy).

You wrote that you used Magnum Opus Musicum as your source. I checked 3 out of the 6 parts: Alto has loetus, Bassus has letus and Cantus has laetus.

Though in some words oe and ae are interchangeable (caeli, coeli being the best known example), laetus is not one of these words, loetus in Magnum Opus Musicum is clearly a typo. I also checked the original 1582 print available from the Bavarian State Library's webpage, all six parts have laetus. Imruska (talk)
