Latin.png Latin text

Surge propera amica mea,
formosa mea, et veni,
iam enim hiems transiit,
imber abiit et recessit,
flores apparuerunt in terra,
tempus putationis advenit.

Ista est speciosa electa a Domino
cuius nativitatem celebramus
ipsa intercedat pro nobis
ad Dominum Deum nostrum.

English.png English translation

Arise, hasten, my love,
my fair one and come,
for now the winter has passed,
the rain has passed over and receded,
flowers have appeared in our land,
the time of pruning has arrived.

She is the beauty chosen by the Lord
whose birth we celebrate;
may she herself intercede for us
to the Lord our God.
