Stélla máris luminósa,
vírga flórens et frondósa,
quam rigávit copiósa
  deitátis grátia.
Ab aetérno ordináta,
ménte Pátris occultáta,
múltis sígnis figuráta,
  míra providéntia.
Sunt impléta vóta gráta,
dum in témplo est obláta,
jugitérque mancipáta,
  divíno servítio.

O María, singuláris
Máter, tóri éxpers máris,
vérum Déum laéta páris
  páriter et hóminem.
Gloriósa imperátrix,
tu es nóstra mediátrix,
divinórum dispensátrix
  bonórum largíssima.
Ergo dúlcis et benígna,
Omni sémper láude dígna,
túo náto nos consígna,
  pia per suffrágia.
Amen.

Luminous star of the sea,
flowering and leafy rod,
which was richly watered
  by the grace of godliness.
Ordained from eternity,
hidden in the mind of the Father,
formed from many signs
  by wonderful providence.
The joyful promises were fulfilled
when she was presented in the temple
and perpetually destined
  to divine service.

O Mary, unique
Mother, without marriage or man,
joyful you bear true god
  and likewise man.
Glorious queen,
you are our mediator,
most liberal dispenser
  of divine blessings.
Therefore, O sweet and benign one,
ever worthy of all praise,
vouch for us to your son
 through holy prayers.
Amen.
