We thank you, God our Creator
for bringing life to the Earth,
for sending your Son among us,
for guiding us to new birth.
He taught us to pray and showed us the way
to always do what is right,
through birth again in your Spirit
show us your light.

Your Son was filled with your Spirit,
sent down to Earth as a dove,
now come down, bring us together,
Spirit of love.

While nation wars against nation,
where people live lives in fear,
your Spirit brings peace and wisdom,
your gifts make everything clear;
your hope makes us strong
to challenge what's wrong
to end war, fight poverty,
to stop oppression and suff'ring,
set people free.
We give ourselves to your service,
in true compassion and love,
now help us to fight for justice,
Spirit of love.

Our church is full of divisions,
our views may keep us apart,
but one thing still can unite us,
a love for you in our hearts.
So, one in your sight,
shine your guiding light
and fill us full of your grace
so we'll be one as your children
here in this place.
Help us to see past our quarrels,
to find peace and rise above
our differences, unify us,
Spirit of love.

Now come down, bring us together,
Spirit of love.
