Spesso il canto ad amare
  move il Delfin nel mare
  Ond' al lito ne viene
  Per temprar le sue pene,

E sopra gl'arboscelli
  Cantando ancor gl'augelli
  Sol per scemar l'ardore
  Che in loro accende Amore

E i travagliati amanti
  Con dolci suoni e canti
  Hanno spesso piugato
  Donne, don lello ingrato

Se dunque il dolce canto
  Giova à gl'amanti tanto
  Ogni amante si dia
  Alla dolce Harmonia
