Rideva (ahi crudo affetto)
la mia fera bellissima, perch'io
lacrimando sfogava il dolor mio:
quando per mia vendetta
da l'una, e l’altra sua ridente stella
cadde una lacrimetta,
che cristallo parea d’alba novella.
O dispietato core,
dissi all’hor, che non senti il fier dolore.
che può, mal grado tu, nel suo bel viso,
far lo scherno pietà, lacrime il riso.
