I.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee,
Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble;
Incline thine ear unto me in the day when I call,
answer me speedily. Amen.
II.
Give ear to my words, O Lord;
Consider my meditation, hearken unto the voice of my cry,
my King, my God: for unto thee will I pray.
My voice shall thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the evening will I direct my pray'r unto thee and will look up. Amen.
III.
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of th'ungodly,
Nor standeth in the way of sinners, not sitteth in the seat of the scornful,
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in his law doth he meditate day and night. Amen.
IV.
Bow down thiine ear, O Lord, and hear me,
for I am poor and needy. Amen.
V.
Show me thy ways, O Lord, teach me thy paths;
lead me in thy truth and teach me:
For thou art the God of my salvation,
on thee do I wait all the day. Amen.
VI.
