eiusque voci angelorum chori concinunt,
et collaudantes clamant:
Gloria in excelsis Deo, et in terra pax
hominibus bonæ voluntatis.

An angel announced the new-born king to the shepherds,
and the choir of angels sing together
and in rejoicing proclaim:
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace,
