Quanto ha di dolce Amore,
Perchè sempre io vi baci,
O dolcissime rose,
In voi tutto ripose.

Deh, deh, s'io potessi
ai vostri dolci baci
La mia vita finire,
O che dolce morire!

English translation by Mick Swithinbank
To make me kiss you incessantly,
sweetest roses,
Love has given you
everything irresistible that lies within his power.

Alas, if only
in the midst of your sweet kisses
I could end my life,
what a sweet death that would be.

(Whether my interpretation is correct partly depends on whether my suggested punctuation is.)
