General Information
Psalm 116 (in the Masoretic or Hebrew numbering) is divided into two psalms in the septuagint numbering of the Vulgate, 114 (first 9 lines) and 115. Both are assigned to Monday Vespers in the 1911 Roman Breviary of Pius X. In the 1971 Liturgy of the Hours both occur in week 2: 115 (116b) is at the Sunday Vigil and 114 at Friday Vespers.
