Latin text Per lígnum sálvi fácti súmus et per sánctam crúcem liberáti sumus; frúctus árboris sedúxit nos, Fílius Déi redémit nos. Allelúia.

English translation Through wood we have been saved and through the holy cross we have been freed; the fruit of the tree seduced us, the Son of God redeemed us. Alleluia.
