Life
Born: April 1949
Biography
Paul Sawyer is a native of Texas and received degrees in electrical engineering and computer science at the University of Texas at Austin. He has spent the last half (so far) of his life working in the Boston, Massachusetts area in high tech. He studied organ for three years, and while without formal compositional training has managed to compose several short choral pieces that have been well received. These pieces have been written for the benefit of First Church in Cambridge, Congregational, United Church of Christ, Peter Sykes music director.
