Italian text
O nata sol per incantar le genti
bellissima di Dio forma e farora,
Donna prodatta sol dala natura,
per miracol del mondo, e de viventi,
Ceda, ced'à le glorie tue
la terra e'l ciel le sue
la terra senza te bella non è,
e bell'è il ciel perche somigli à te.
Se si mira il bel volto sfavillante
poss'io morir' che l'adorarlo e'l meno,
contr'i strali del sguardo e del bel seno
diveri acera un core di diamante
Chi fè di nulla si mirabil core
fabico l'homo pria la Donna poi,
preminenza real, cosi frà noi nascon
prima le spine e poi le rose.
