Latin.png Latin text

O cor Jesu, fons amoris,
caritatis victima,
vocibus te jam sonoris
laudent cordis intima.

Tu perenni gratiarum
rore mentes irrigas,
crucis lignum tu amarum
haustu dulci mitigas.

Amen.

English.png English translation

O heart of Jesus, fountain of love,
love's pure victim,
now let them praise thee
with sounding voices in thine inmost heart.

Thou irrigatest our minds
with dew of the unceasing grace;
Thou appeasest the bitter wood of the cross
and turnest into sweet draft.

Amen.
