Description: While organ seems indicated, the part is not independent of voices and performance as an a cappella full anthem would be feasible. There are minor divisi in all voices, but sustained 6-part singing only towards the end, for SAATTB, and another passage for SSAAT.

O Lord, look down from heaven,
and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory:
Where is Thy zeal and Thy strength, [the sounding of Thy bowels,]¹ Thy mercies toward me? are they restrained?
