Life

Born: c. 1492 in Zwickau

Died: 1562 in Schneeberg

Biography German pastor and composer. He studied in Leipzig from 1512 and in Wittenberg. Matriculated on 6 May 1513. From 1527 Lutheran priest in Burgstein, near Plauen. From 1534 a deacon at St Katharinen, Zwickau. From 1539 a priest in Geyer. In 1554 he became archdeacon in Schneeberg, where he remained until his death.
