Nel tuo bel sen si strugge,
O bella Filli, il core,
Fatto servo e prigion del crudo amore;

E voi senza pietade,
Piena di crudeltade,
A gioca vi prendete il mio languire
Per vedermi morire;

Anzi perché non mora,
Ma in doglia viva ogn'hora,
Talhor mi fate lieto col bel viso,
Ma non volgendo gl'occhi resto anciso.
