Nasce la gioia mia
Ogni volta ch'io miro il mio bel sole,
E la mia vita é ria*
Qualor nol miro,
Perché il sguardo è tale,
Ch'ogni volta beato farmi suole.
O sol, almo immortale
Non t'asconder mai più che certo veggio
S'io non ti miro io non posso aver peggio.

NB. The recording of The Tallis Scholars have "via", but the 16th print clearly has "ria" (sinful) in all six parts.
