Mon bon vouloir et mon leal service
de vostre amour me donnaient assurance,
la foy aussy, qu'en ce, m'estoit promise,
rendoit certaine à peu près l'espérance,
mais maintenant aultre en prend jouyssance
et moy congié je prends de vous en somme,
requérant de vous aultre vengeance,
sinon que foy maintenant fault en Romme.

Mon bon vouloir et mon loyal service de votre amour
me donnaient l’assurance,
et aussi la foi qu’en ce (cas) m’était promise,
rendant l’espérance à peu près certaine.
Mais maintenant, autre prend jouissance
et moi, je prends congé de vous.
En somme, requérant de vous autre vengeance
sinon que maintenant il faut avoir foi en Rome.
