Mirtillo hat ein Schäfelein,
welchs er vor andern liebt,
das wollte etwas unbaß sein,
der ward er hochbetrübt:
die Woll, gewachsen nur zu lang,
dem Schäflein macht so angst und bang.
Er gab ihm mit eim Löffelein
ein herzerquickend Säftlein ein
tät ihm die Woll abschneiden:
worauf alsbalde zu der Stund
das kranke Schäflein wurd gesund,
hüpfet und sprang für Freuden.
