Biography
Michelangelo Buonarroti the younger was an Italian poet, noted for his collaborations with Francesca Caccini. Alongside numerous solo settings by 17c composers are Luigi Dallapiccola's Sei Cori di Michelangelo Buonarroti il Giovane (1933).
He is often confused with his granduncle the sculptor (as well as poet) Michelangelo Buonarroti.
