et gloriam plebis tuae Israel.

Nunc dimittis servum tuum, Domine,
secundum verbum tuut in pace.

A Light for revelation to the gentiles
and for glory to your people Israel.

Now lettest thou thy servant depart
in peace, according to thy word.
