French text Lors l’envieux ne pourra plus durer, Ains s’escrira de voix bien véhémente: Contente toy du grief qui me tourmente, Et me laissez mon seul mal endurer.

Dutch translation Dan kan de afgunstige niet meet voortleven, Maar schreewt met luide stem: Vergenoeg je met het verdriet dat me kwelt En laat me mijn smart alleen doorstaan.
