Lord, I beseech Thee, deliver my soul,
Stained, red as crimson, through Christ made white as snow;
Lord, I beseech Thee, hear this humble prayer
Save me from sin, lack of faith, and despair.
Lord, I beseech Thee to purify by heart,
Purge by the fire that Thy Spirit imparts;
