Edition notes: The tune is traditional. The harmony was first written by D.J. Hall to a much more complex arrangement in English with accompaniment. The original arrangement was simplified by Aindrias Hiort and set to words by Catriona NicIomhair Parsons; it was first performed at the Cruinneachadh nan Gaidheal 2008 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Eisd ri ar n-ùrnaigh, Rìgh na Glòir',
Cum sinne treòrach, treun
Mar chum thu ar sinnsirean a thàinig thar chuain
Sàbhailt nad làmhan fhèin.

Measg ghaoithean searbh is shiantan garbh
'S Tusa fear-stiùiridh ar luing'
Leat-sa air bòrd, aotrom a’bhòids'
Gun eagal is Tusa leinn.

Anmoch is tràth, gach oidhche's a latha
'Gad leantainn troimh'n ioma-ghaoith
