Italian text La mia spietata sorte Vuol che m’affliga e muoia, priva d’ogni mio ben, d’ogni mio gioia. O ch’infelice morte, poi che mesta e scontenta morir conviemmi, pria Ch’io vegga voi, mio ben, voi, vita mia.

German translation Mein unbarmherziges Schicksal will, dass ich mich quäle und sterbe, beraubt all meines Glücks, all meiner Freude. Oh welch unglücklicher Tod, da ich traurig und unglücklich sterben soll, bevor ich Euch sehe, mein Heil, Euch, mein Leben. Translation by Gerhard Weydt
