Description: Published in Ingalls' Christian Harmony, 1805, pp. 123-124, for three voices: Treble-Tenor-Bass. Words by an unknown author, apparently first appearing in Smith and Sleeper's 1794 book Divine Hymns or Spiritual Songs, printed in Ingalls 1805 with eighteen stanzas. Ingalls used the first two stanzas in his composition.
