'''Biography'''

Little is known about the life of the Dutch composer Josquin Baston, other than that he is believed to have served at the Royal Danish and Royal Swedish courts from around the 1550s. His surviving output is predominantly secular (French chansons and Dutch songs), though it includes about twenty sacred motets.
