Life

Born: 1580

Died: c.1647

Biography

Lugge was Organist and Vicar Choral at Exeter Cathedral from c.1603 until his death, i.e. throughout the personal rule of Charles I. One suspects Laudian sympathies: two sons were said to have fled the country suspected of being catholic.
