Life

Born: 14 November 1778

Died: 17 October 1837

Biography

Scholar of Albrechtsberger, Salieri and J. Haydn, who recommended him as conducter in Esterhazy. Later in Wien, Stuttgart and Weimar. Large sinfonic work, most famous trumpet concerto. But also great church music.
