Life

Johann Baptist Singenberger (John Singenberger)

Born: 25 May 1848 Kirchberg, St. Gallen in Switzerland

Died: 29 May 1924 Milwaukee, Wisconsin in USA

Biography A student of Franz Xaver Witt, Singenberger arrived in Wisconsin in 1873 and founded the American St. Cecilia Society, a precursor of the Church Music Association of America.
