French text Original text Ie laime bien et laimeray a ce propos suis et serai et demeuray toute ma vie et quoi quon men die par envie ie laime bien et laimeray Modern French Je l’aime bien et l’aimerai, en ce propos suis et serai, et resterai (demourai) toute ma vie et quoi qu’on m’en dise par envie, je l’aime bien et l’aimerai.

English translation I love her and I always will, for now and for whatever time may come. I will not yield for the remainder of my life and no matter what envious tongues might tell, I love her and I always will.

German translation Ich liebe dich, meins Lebens Zier, in steter Treu ergeben dir, bis zu des Herzens letztem Schlag. Was auch der Neider flüstern mag, ich liebe dich, meins Lebens Zier.

Czech translation Miluji tě a budu tě milovat tak, jako že jsem a budu. Celý můj život bude toho důkazem, ať mne potká cokoli.
