Biography
Jacob Cubitt Pring was born at Lewisham, and was the organist of St Botolph's, Aldersgate. His collection of Eight Anthems, as Performed at St. Paul's Cathedral, dedicated to the Dean and Chapter, was published c1793, and reissued c1795: other published works of his include a collection of glees and canons, as well as some glees among the repertoire of the Concentores Sodales, of which he was a founder. His brothers Joseph and Isaac were both organists, at Bangor Cathedral and New College, Oxford respectively.
