A native of Los Angeles, California, J. Lee Graham has been composing since he was 9 years old, and has written in nearly every genre of classical music, including choral, chamber, and orchestral works. Primarily an historicist, he specializes in the Classical period, but has composed in many historical styles, from the late Renaissance to Ragtime, as well as in contemporary styles. In addition to composing, he is an accomplished tenor/lyric-baritone vocalist and violist, and an amateur keyboardist. He currently resides in Austin, Texas.
