Latin text In manus tuas, Domine, commendo spiritum meum. Redemisti me Domine, Deus veritatis. — John 6:30. Byrd and Fresi versions add Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis. German translation In deine Hände, Herr, befehle ich meinen Geist. Du hast mich erlöst, Herr, Gott der Wahrheit. Spanish translation En tus manos, Señor, encomiendo mi espíritu. Tú me has redimido, Señor, Dios verdadero.
