Latin text
Impetum fecerunt unanimes in eum
et ejecerunt eum extra civitatem, invocantem et dicentem:
Domine accipe spiritum meum.
Stephanus Dei gratia plenus erat,
multa in plebe signa faciebat:
caelos apertos aspiciebat,
Jesum stantem videbat a dextris Dei et dicebat:
Glora Deo Patri sumo, ejuque soli sibi regni nato;
ac utriusque Spiritui Sancto:
sicut erat primo et nunc et semper, et in saecula. Amen.
Et testes deposuerunt vestimenta sua secus pedes adolescentis
qui vocabatur Saulus et lapidabant Stephanum.
Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto.
