Description: Words by Isaac Watts, 1717, paraphrase of Psalm 94, Part 1, with six stanzas. These words substituted for those printed with the original: Philip Doddridge, 1755: "Indulgent God, with pitying eye." Forbush used the first two stanzas in his composition.
