German.png German text

Ihr Heiligen, lobsinget dem Herren,
danket und preiset seine Herrlichkeit,
denn sein Zorn währet einen Augenblick,
und er hat Lust zum Leben.
Den Abend lang währet das Weinen,
aber des Morgens die Freude.

English.png English translation

Sing unto the Lord, o ye saints of His,
and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness,
for His anger endureth but for a moment,
and in His favour is life.
Weeping may endure for a night;
but joy cometh in the morning.
