German text Ich ruff zu dir Herr Jesu Christ/  Ich bitt erhör mein klagen/  verleyh mir gnad zu diser frist/  laß mich doch nit verzagen/  den rechten weg, O Herr, ich mein/  den wöllest du mir geben/  dir zu leben/  mein nechsten nutz zu seyn/  dein wort zu halten eben

English translation I call to you, Lord Jesus Christ /  Hear my complains,  Give me your grace in this time/  do not let me despair  the right way, O Lord, I mean /  you want to give me /  to live /  my to be useful to my neighbour/  and even to keep your word.
