Description: A Hymn to Saint Martin of Tours (5th century) who is renowned for cutting his Roman military cloak in half to give it to a naked beggar - Christ in disguise. Later he became a bishop in the last years of the Roman Empire in the west. He was a famous preacher and fearless holding firmly to his faith in the tricky politics of the dying Western Empire.

Invictum ab oratione,

Martinus, Abrahae sinu laetus excipitur,
Hic pauper modicus, coelum dives ingreditur,
Hymnis coeles tibus honoratur.
