The first of the two Delphic hymns, dated 127 bce and initially thought to be by an anonymous Athenian. The inscribed attribution is now read as "Athénaios Athenaíou". Comparison with drawings made during the excavation in 1893 show that some portions of the stone have been broken off and lost subsequently. Gabriel Fauré added harp accompaniment for the first published transcription, available at IMSLP.
