Latin text
Hic est beatissimus Evangelista et Apostolus Johannes,
qui privilegio amoris praecipui caeteris altius a Domino meruit honorari.
Hic est discipulus ille, quem diligebat Jesus,
qui supra pectus Domino in coena recubuit.
Beatus Apostolus, cui revelata sunt secreta coelestia.
