Hélas, mon oeuil,
n'as-tu pas trop grand tort
de n'avoir fait et causé tel outrage?
Vu que tu es la fenêtre et la porte
dont on reçoit tout bien et avantage.
Je connaissais mal mon présomptueux courage,
en me donnant le mal sans remède.
J'aimerais mieux, vu mon mal et dommage,
n'en avoir eu jamais connaissance.
