Description: for New Year's Day and probably first performed 1 January 1729 after the libretto was printed. The opening chorus is parodied in the B minor mass' Patrem omnipotentem and the soprano aria (No. 3) is from Zerreißet, zersprenget, zertrümmert die Gruft, BWV 205.
