Italian text Giovan Giacomo et Carlo, Spirti felici et rari, Di generoso ardir, di virtù pari, Di vostri merti al segno Non gionge stil di pelegrino ingegno Né’l mio sì roco canto Può darvi pregio o vanto. Pur consacro Chisel al vostr’honore Lo stil e’l canto e’l core.

German translation Johann Jakob und Karl, glückliche und kostbare Geister, von eurem Edelmut, ebenso den Tugenden, von euren außerordentlichen Verdiensten kann kein Stil von rarer Eingebung noch mein rauhes Lied euch Preis und Ruhm darbringen.
