Biography Three Loosemore brothers were born to a Barnstaple organ maker: John (1616 - 1681), an organ maker of renown, remained in Devon (Barnstaple and later Exeter); Henry (c.1600 - 1670) and George (1619 - 1682) were both appointed organists of Cambridge colleges, at King's and Trinity respectively.
