Biography

Möhlich was a pupil of Heinrich Schütz. Apart from his Madrigals from 1619, no other works by Möhlich are extant. He worked as a master of dance in his later years: e.g. he was the choreograph for the performance of Schütz' Ballet "Orpheus and Euridike" on November 20th 1638 (according to M. Fürstenau: "Zur Geschichte der Musik und des Theaters am Hofe zu Dresden", Dresden 1861).
