Mary mother mild,
I sing this song unto you:
“Fear not, maiden, you are favoured of God.
You shall bring forth a boy child,
and His name shall be Jesus”.
Then said Mary,
“How can this be, as I know not any man?”
And the angel answerer, saying:
“The Holy Ghost shall come,
and the power of God shall o’ershadow you,
and you shall bear the Son of God.”
“God’s will be done”.
