Edition notes: Original Keys and note values. The 2nd and 3rd stanzas are only printed in the tenor partbook. Text underlay is not exactly indicated (except for the anyway simple cases like dotted quarter - eigth - half note). Often the number of notes doesn't fit the one of syllables. The text distribution is therefore in many places the editor's choice and may be doubted and changed.

Description: The Altus part is notated in C2 in the first line, but in C3 in the 2nd and 3rd lines. This is obviously no error, as the music would be dissonant using each these keys consequently for all lines.
