Latin text Erravi sicut ovis quae periit: quaere servum tuum, pro quo ut non periret mori dignatus es et voluisti.

English translation I have gone astray like a sheep that is lost: O seek thy servant, for whom you are worthy to die, and you wish it, that he might not perish.
